Why the chat writes 'best in town' and misses your service area: Ievgen Kovalevskyi on empty chat vs project folder for Google Ads

Why the chat writes “best in town” and misses your service area

An empty chat cannot see the account folder. Three files so the next Google Ads request continues instead of starting over.

An empty browser chat starts from zero. You ask for an ad. It writes a smooth line: the best service in town. It sounds confident. It does not know your service area, the jobs you do not take, or the queries that wasted spend last month. You type the city, the jobs, the refusals, and the queries you already cut. You typed the same thing last week, in a window that is gone. The new chat never read it.

Working mode starts from the folder on your computer. The page, the last ad, the list of wasted queries, and a note about the next check are already there. The new request does not introduce itself to the business. It reads the files and continues.

What an empty chat can see

A browser tab remembers the thread while the thread is open. Close it, or run out of room, and the context has to be typed again. The chat does not see the decision you already made, the report you opened, or the step that comes next. A fluent answer is not the same thing as a file.

Asking you to introduce the business again is not a bad prompt. It is an empty workplace. While the account lives only in a conversation, every new chat honestly starts from zero.

Three files the folder should hold

For Google Ads, three things belong in that folder, written so the next request can read them on its own.

  • The area you actually serve.
  • The jobs you do not take.
  • The queries you already removed.

This is not the memory of a browser tab. These are files. The next request sees them after you close the chat.

When the browser is the right tool

Keep the browser for a one-off question. What a metric means. What a report is called. Where to open it. The account history is not required, and an empty window is the right tool. You get the answer and you do not need to store it in the project.

The folder matters when the work lasts for weeks: ad text, negatives, the page, the next search-term check. If every chat starts from zero, the ad promises one thing and the page says another, because the chat that wrote the ad never opened the page.

How to continue instead of introducing the business

Build one workplace first. One account folder. One plan that records where you stopped. Do not switch models every week while the work still lives in an empty window. The next request starts from the folder: read the plan, the page, and the last check, then do the step that is already written down.

When a folder will not help

A folder does not replace the account itself. If the file holds someone else's example, or a conclusion you never confirmed, the next request will confidently continue the wrong job. If the tasks are one-off and the weeks are not connected, a separate folder only adds a step. And if the folder contains no decision you actually made, the chat will fill the gap with a smooth sentence. The file records your conclusion. It does not invent one.

What to do this week

Open one folder for the account. Put in the service area, the jobs you do not take, and the queries you already removed, plus one line for the next check. Start the next request from those files. If you want me to look at where your account starts from zero every time, the review is here: audit.ikovalevskyi.com. I will show you which file belongs in the folder and which step to continue. Questions owners ask

Why does the chat write a generic ad?

It never read the file with your service area, the jobs you refuse, and the queries you already cut. A smooth line is what fits in an empty window.

What should I store if I have no time for a large system?

Three things: the area you serve, the jobs you do not take, the queries you already removed.

Is a browser chat enough for Google Ads?

For a one-off question about a metric or a report name, yes. For ads, negatives, and a check that repeats every week, no. That work needs a folder the next request can continue from.
